I need an updated resume (be sure that it reflects your experience with AR in detail-especially any testing you have done) Our client is approaching the testing phases of its 1st deployment of AR and is ready to start ramping up resources for User Acceptance Testing and Training Development.Our primary focus is to find 2-3 senior consultants with solid AR and solid testing experience. They’ll be the initial contractors brought in for this testing phase. The testing is primarily within Oracle apps, though, there are some third-party and legacy products that will be interfacing with AR. This Core Test team will do testing in multiple business units over a long period of time. The first two phases will be for the next six months, roughly three months each. Most of the work will be done in Austin. However, there may be some travel to Canada and Mexico. The Core Test team will also work with preparation of some training materials toward the end of each Business Unit test cycle. For UAT, we’re looking for some people who can really add value in the areas of test prep and execution. In particular, need some people who are high-energy and can quickly start producing scripts when given a set of requirements documents and process maps. We would prefer candidates with strong prior experience with Oracle 11i AR, but aren't necessarily "techies". Furthermore, we would like strong functional people who aren't 100% tool-oriented. Ideal candidates are people who are accountants or financial services (i.e. people who have worked in Invoicing Operations) and who have previous experience as a user of Oracle A/R.This is a 50/50 blend of business (AR) experience and Oracle experience.Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years overall experience in finance and/or accounting and 5+ years in Oracle applications. Experience in creating test plans, test scenarios and writing test scripts is an absolute must.
