Weblogic Administrator SKILLS REQUIRED Welogic, java, j2ee, unix, shell scripting Job Description: 6+ years experience in Weblogic Development/Administration. Must be an expert with Web technologies:J2EE, Weblogic/Dynamo, SunOne, Java, XML/XSL, etc. Must be fully versed in typical Web Architectures/Frameworks (Struts, Tiles, WebServices)Must be fully versed in typical production configurations (Clusters, F5 load balancers, etc)Expert knowledge of Unix (a must have as role functions as SA)Well versed in shell scriptingExpert knowledge of Ant, Maven, ClearCaseKnowledgable of relational database. Oracle 8, 9, & MySQL, stored procedures.The biggest attribute is the candidate be an expert troubleshooter and be able to take initiative and drive to completion issues without much supervision/direction. Communication is an absolute mustExperience:Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Description: Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team lead.Candidate must have experience as senior Weblogic Administrator as well as previous senior J2EE developer experience. Role requires troubleshooting of various QA/Dev/Production environments. Candidate should be comfortable working in Unix/PC environments as well as strong experience with Ant/Maven build tools. Unix scripting experience a must.
