The Services business is one of the most profitable in the client’s line of offerings. This is a growth area and a strong support is given by senior management to Marketing and Operations. The Service Pricing and Discounting is the central repository of Services business pricing and discounting rules governing the quoting and ordering tools, linked to the client’s e-commerce tools. At a high level, the job consists in implementing new Service Programs developed by Services Marketing into the client’s e-commerce tools.Initial training will include the following:· Customer Advocacy and the Services business · Services Marketing and Services Marketing Operations · Service Configurator principles · Service Agreements database · Service Pricing and Discounting components · Service Pricing and Discounting rules · Rules implementation in Oracle Advanced Pricing Primary Duties: · As a member of the Service Pricing and Discounting team, work with Service Marketing to define Pricing and discounting rules for new service on products and new service programs, and with other groups in Customer Advocacy and Customer Service to gather business rules related to service processes and policies. · Provide analytical support and recommendations regarding service product and program rules and data structuring. Model requirements into rules. Identify parameters and constraints within rules · Collaborate closely with IT to implement rules in the QP (Oracle 11i Advanced Pricing). · Analyze and understand the impact of proper product and program data and rules set up. · Work with cross-functional teams, including Service Marketing, Advanced Services Practices, WW Service Sales Operations, New Product Introduction and New Service Program Introduction, Customer Service. · Interact with business areas such as change management, process improvement, service assurance, business control, and bill of materials analysis. · Eventually, become subject matter expert in all Service Programs and their structure in quoting and ordering tools. · Test and launch in production · Provide support to Service Sales Reps/Customers for quoting/ordering issues · Propose enhancements to QP Qualifications: · BS Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Management and Information Systems, Master’s degree preferred· 5+ years of relevant work experience· Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, time management and prioritization skills· Track record in working with highly complex, abstract concepts in a fast paced environment· Experience in articulating and translating business requirements into crisp business requirements documents is required.· Track record in implementing large scale enterprise business applications· Ability to manage tasks and commitments to dates· Candidate must be able to work cross functionally (with both business and IT partners) and communicate clearly (verbal and written) at all levels.· Work experience in Pricing & Discounting business rules in high tech area is a big plus· Understanding of Oracle 11i Advanced Pricing capabilities and Object-Oriented Concepts is a big plus· Thorough attention to details· Passion for excellence and learning· Team player· Quick learner· Self driven· Independent Worker - Ability to project manage their own tasks
