Sr. Java Developer Company & Position Info This position will function as a software developer and is responsible for all web based application system development. This position will lead projects and provide technical support to users and management Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related discipline Experience implementing application software in a large and complex organization. Experience in design and development of web applications using Java and J2EE technologies including but not limited to EJB, Java Beans, JSP, servlets and JDBC. Experience in XML, HTML, Javascript and CSS Experience in Web Services and knowledge of SOA. Knowledge of architectural concepts, design methodologies, design patterns and UML Experience in or familiarity with open source frameworks and tools such as CVS, Ant, Axis and Struts. Experience in development and deployment on Windows and Linux platforms. Knowledge of Unix shell programming a plus. Must have experience using IDE\\\'s, preferably Eclipse or JBuilder Experience in Application Servers, preferably Websphere and Tomcat Experience in SQL, DB design and RDBMS, preferably DB2. Hands on experience in all aspects of the development life cycle - requirements, design/analysis, development, development testing, QA. Hands on experience capturing requirements, design (functional/ technical) and test plans. Performed QA integration and system testing based on QA test plans
