Food Scientist/Product Developer - Baking Manufactuing A wholesale Baking and Food Manufacturing Company in the East Bay area approximately 35 miles SE of San Francisco is seeking a Food Scientist/Product Developer to join their team. Looking for someone who is a hard worker who enjoys experimenting and is creative yet detailed. Someone who is confident and autonomous, yet knows how to share the kitchen and keep it clean too. The person who will succeed in this position will have at least 3 years working in the food industry as a Food Technologist or a Product Developer in a R&D department. Will have simultaneously managed several projects with the ability to participate in and facilitate cross-functional efforts. Will possess a Bachelors Degree - Pastry Chef or Food Technology. They offer a cool, dynamic, multi-cultural and environmentally sensitive workplace where you can make a real difference. They are on track to becoming the first ever, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified baking company. If you don’t know that much about LEED, this means that they have met stringent standards in terms of the quality of the work environment they provide to their employees.
