Transportation Coordinator A Logistic and Distribution Company located in Carson, Ca is seeking a Transportation Coordinator. This position is a Temp to Hire Opportunity Position requirements: - Transportation Experience - Multiple Modes (i.e. LTL, TL, Air, Rail, etc.) a plus - Dependable transportation - Excellent written and verbal skills - Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Outlook and Excel - Analytical mindset - you will be required to manipulate Excel data files on a regular bases for the clients reporting needs - Interact with key customer contacts at all levels - Interact with key carrier contacts - Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments - Fill out required shipping documents - Obtain quotes from carriers and FDSI corporate customer service - Manipulate Excel data files for customer reporting requirements - Manage customer issues and escalate when needed - Be key contact and act as intermediary between customer and 3PL for all shipping needs - This person will insert themselves into customers operations, understanding shipping requirements and become an integral part of their shipping staff Please email your Resume or call to apply for this position.
